![]() Kelsey is Mexican-American and an enrolled Tlingit member who grew up on the Lummi Reservation. After returning to Washington, Kelsey worked as a migrant graduation specialist for Ferndale High School and a Spanish teacher for Muckleshoot Tribal School, before entering school administration. She began her teaching career as a Spanish teacher with Chief Leschi Schools and then moved to the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota, where Kelsey taught health and physical education. ![]() Kelsey attended Central Washington University for her bachelor's degree in Spanish Education and the University of Washington - Tacoma for her administrative certificate. ![]() Kelsey will be joining the Kellogg family from Chief Leschi School District in Puyallup, where s he taught and has been the middle and high school assistant principal for the last two years. She will succeed Mitch Entler, who has been an interim assistant principal for the current school year. Kelsey May has been selected to serve as an assistant principal at Kellogg Middle School beginning in the 2023-24 school year, Superintendent Susana Reyes announced.
